If you never had to pray,

How would you know that I am a Deliverer?
如果你从未试过祈祷，你怎么知道我是一个救赎主?

If you never had a trial,

How could you call yourself an overcomer?
如果你从未有过一个考验，你怎么可以自称是得胜者？

If you never felt sadness,

How would you know that I am a Comforter?
如果你从未感到悲伤，你怎么知道我是一个安慰者？

If you never made a mistake,

How would you know that I am a forgiver?
如果你从来没有犯错，你怎么知道我是宽恕者？

If you knew all,

How would you know that I will answer your questions?
如果你知道一切，你怎么知道我会回答你的问题呢？

If you never were in trouble,

How would you know that I will come to your rescue?
如果你从未遇到麻烦，你怎么知道我会来拯救你?

If you never were broken,

Then how would you know that I can make you whole?
如果您未曾尝过残破，那么你将如何知道我可以使你重整？

If you never had a problem,

How would you know that I can solve them?
如果你从未有过问题，你如何知道我可以解决这些问题？

If you never had any suffering,

Then how would you know what I went through?
如果你从来没有任何痛苦，那么你将如何知道我的经历？

If you never went through the fire,

Then how would you become pure?
如果你从未经历过冲击，那么你会如何成为完全呢？

If I gave you all things,

How would you appreciate them?
如果我给你所有东西, 你怎去懂得如何珍惜呢？

If I never corrected you,

How would you know that I love you?
如果我从来没有纠正你，你怎么会知道我爱你？

If you had all power,

Then how would you learn to depend on me?
如果你有一切权力，那么你将如何学习依靠我呢？

If your life was perfect,

Then what would you need me for?
如果你的生活是完美的，那么你会需要我吗？
